We believe the effects of women’s oppression on the basis of sex, race, and class are magnified during the pandemic. Destructive forces exploit working class, poor, racialized, and Indigenous women to the greatest extent. This treatment of any woman impacts the possibility of freedom for us all. So, we fight to overturn the global neoliberal value system and recreate a life sustaining culture.
Our goal is women’s freedom. Women’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual wellbeing is fundamental to the wellbeing of all. Our culture has tolerated the enforcement of scarcity, the destruction of fundamental human and natural relationships, and male violence against women, including incest, rape, wife battering, prostitution, and pornography. A pandemic recovery must include an end to these practices.
A Guaranteed Livable Income is needed to address our losses in this pandemic and provide women with a source of income that enables us to reject oppressive work and family relationships while ensuring greater freedom in the use of our energy, skills, and time. We envision and create a world where all share in creating and sustaining the commons: the resources, culture and community created and shared by all, for our common good.

... the recreation of the common/s appears as a formidable task that could only be accomplished through a long-term process of experimentation, coalition building and reparations. But though this task may now seem more difficult than passing through the eye of a needle, it is also the only possibility we have for widening the space of our autonomy, and refusing to accept that our reproduction occurs at the expense of the world’s other commoners and commons.
